Getting a useful answer

Four facts turn an enquiry into a quotation

Most first emails ask for a price list. A price list is not a quotation, because the film that fits your building depends on four things nobody has told us yet.

What we ask, and why
What we askWhy it changes the priceWhat to send
Series or applicationTwo series can look identical and price 30% apartThe product you sell, or the problem: heat, glare, privacy, safety
Quantity and widthPrice breaks are by volume and by slittingRolls per series, and the working width your installers use
Destination portFreight, packing and pallet standard follow the marketPort and country, and the Incoterm you buy on
Glass type and thicknessNot a price input — it decides whether the film is suitableSingle, laminated or sealed unit, and the pane size range

With those four lines the reply is a specification: which series, which thickness, which packing, what documents, and a price that holds for the run. Without them the reply is a range and another email, and both sides lose a week.

If you are quoting a project rather than stocking, add the elevation and the number of panes. A project order is packed per elevation, and that changes both the packing and the delivery schedule.

Terms

Samples, documents and what ships with the order

The commercial part of a film order is short, and it is worth knowing before the first email rather than at the packing stage.

  • Samples at cost by courier, with the datasheet for the series
  • FOB from a major Chinese port as standard; CIF quoted on request
  • Batch record and test reports issued with the shipment
  • Fumigation-free pallets for the EU, Australia and the US
  • Private-label liner, core and carton on OEM orders

Prices are quoted per run rather than published as a list. Coating costs move with resin and energy, and a list price that silently changes is worse than a quote that is honest about its basis.

Questions

Before you send the form

The four questions that arrive before or alongside the first enquiry.

How quickly do you reply?

Within one business day, and usually the same day for enquiries that arrive during our working hours. The reply is a specification and a price, not an acknowledgement — if we need one more fact we ask for it in that first message rather than sending a holding email.

Can we get samples before ordering?

Yes. A4 swatches and short rolls go by courier, with the datasheet for the series. Samples are charged at cost and the courier is on your account; on a container order the sample cost is normally absorbed.

What is the minimum order?

It depends on the series. Stock constructions have a low minimum; a custom width, a private-label print or a non-standard length is set by the production run rather than by the roll, and we will say which applies to your enquiry.

Do you quote delivered prices?

We quote FOB from a major Chinese port as standard, and can quote CIF against your port on request. For a first shipment most buyers compare FOB and arrange their own forwarder, which also gives them control of the documentation.

What happens next

No call centre, no drip campaign

1. Specification check

We confirm the compatible grade against your glass and application, or ask one question if something is missing.

2. Price and MOQ

Price break points for the quantity, the width options and the packing that fits your shipment.

3. Sample, then order

Swatches by courier so your installer can test before you commit to a container.
