About

A film plant in Wuhan, and what it can and cannot do

Two coating lines, in-house slitting, and a product range that is deliberately narrower than the catalogue of a trading company. We would rather be the supplier who says “we do not make that” than the one who quotes everything.

  • Wholesale rolls
  • OEM available
  • Export packing

Detail

The plant

The factory sits in Xincheng Industrial Park, Hanyang District, Wuhan. Two coating lines run architectural solar, safety and privacy constructions; slitting is in the same building, which is why a mixed pallet with three widths is a scheduling question rather than a subcontract.

Capacity is quoted in running metres per shift rather than in a brochure number. Ask for the current schedule if you are planning a container programme.

How we work

What buyers tend to notice

Answers come from the people who run the line, not from a sales desk reading a PDF. That means fewer “yes, of course” and more “that thickness will not do what you want”.

We supply film. We do not install, and we do not pretend to be an installer network. If your project needs site work, you need a local partner — we will tell you what to ask them.

Factory

What we actually run

Hubei 6090 New Materials Co., Ltd. produces architectural solar control film, safety and security film, privacy and decorative film, and automotive film from our plant in Hanyang, Wuhan. The range is ours: we coat, slit, pack and document it, which is why we can answer a question about a batch rather than forwarding it to someone else.

Being a factory changes what a buyer should expect from us. We are not an installer and not a project manager. We do not send a crew to your building, and we will not pretend the film alone solves a glazing problem. What we do is supply film that matches the specification, with documents that survive an audit, packed so it arrives usable.

Most of our work is with distributors, importers, installers and project buyers in Europe, North America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Australia. That shapes the range: export-grade packing, private label, and a technical answer that assumes the buyer knows the difference between IR rejection and SHGC.

How we work

The parts of the job that are not the film

Three things decide whether a film order is a success, and none of them is the coating line. The specification has to match the glass. The packing has to survive a container and a warehouse. The documentation has to be forwardable to the end client without editing.

We spend most of the enquiry on the first one. Glass build-up, orientation, frame and fixing decide which series is right — and sometimes decide that film is the wrong answer. Saying that early is cheaper for everyone than a return.

On the other two we are deliberately boring: consistent packing, batch records, no claims we cannot evidence. A distributor's reputation is built on what happens after the sale, and ours goes with it.

Questions

Before you ask

The three questions that come up on almost every enquiry.

Can we visit the factory?

Yes. Tell us the dates and we will arrange it; the line runs five and a half days a week.

How long have you been operating?

Ask us directly for the current registration date — we would rather give you the number than have you compare it against a claim.

Do you have a UK or US office?

No. The film is produced in Wuhan, and everything is quoted FOB or CIF from a Chinese port chosen for your destination.

Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?

A manufacturer. We coat and convert the film and issue our own batch documentation. We do not resell other factories’ stock under our name.

Can we visit the factory?

Yes. Send the dates and the series you want to see and we will arrange the line walk and the sample room.

Do you install?

No. We supply film and technical support. Installation belongs to your local contractor, and we will tell you what to look for in one rather than recommend a name.

Which markets do you supply?

Europe, North America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Australia, mostly through distributors and project buyers. Shipment leaves from the Chinese port best suited to your destination.
